Porsche AG is testing a service that allows U.S. buyers to go online to browse dealer inventories of new and used vehicles and complete the paperwork for a sale.
Porsche AG is testing a service that allows U.S. buyers to go online to browse dealer inventories of new and used vehicles and complete the paperwork for a sale.
The pilot with 25 dealers proves successful, the program could expand to all 191 Porsche dealers in the U.S., according to the company. Dealers participating in the test are scattered across the country.
AN says shoppers can use the online service to calculate trade-in value and monthly payments, get credit approval and arrange financing and insurance. The scheme does requires customers to go to their selling dealership to sign papers and take deliver of their vehicles.
